This week over at Every Inchie Monday the theme is "Killer". I really had to rack my brain over this. I just could not think of what to do. I mean, a bloody knife? A killer bee? Or some other "killer" kinda item?
I decided to just leave it until later on so I could take time to think about it. Then I watched one of my favorite movies from the 80's. Clue.
Dontcha just love this movie. So many plays on words, Tim Curry, and of course murder!!! When I was designing the inchie all I could think about was this movie. So how to incorporate this into my inchie. Here is what I came up with. One of the most recognizable murder weapons in Clue is the candlestick, and when you think of the game you think of the game pieces, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, Scarlet and of course Mustard.
In the end I was able to put all of those into an inchie. I hope that you like it.
As you can see, there is a candlestick above the game pieces. I also situated the game pieces staggered behind the first one. I used 8 colors of Delicas, All frosted transparent, except the pink and silver.
Dont forget to fly on over to EIM and check out all the other "killer" inchies! (Been waiting for that one for a while LOL)
Loooooooove it! So very clever! Love Clue as well :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Trillian, the only way I could do it was by staggering the pieces, I'm just glad it actually looked like what it was supposed to.
