Do Kangaroos have Zippered pouches!

What an interesting question, right?  I always thought that kangaroos are pretty cool animals.  I mean they NEVER lose their keys!  How awesome is that?  Yea, yea I know they don't drive, but let me dream!

So what does this all have to do with anything?  Well, this week over at Every Inchie Monday the theme is Kangaroo and the theme over at 2x2x2 is Zipper.

First up, Kangaroo.  This one took a looooonnnngggg time for me to figure out something.  How to portray a kangaroo in an inch of beads??  Then I remembered there was a thing called a kangaroo pouch, it is a sling kind of thing that a person can wear and carry a baby in, keeping them close to you.  So, with that in mind I designed a pink and blue design of a Mommy and a baby.

Doesn't scream Kangaroo but it was all I could think to make.  Also, this week over at 2x2x2 the theme is Zipper.  This one was also another hard one for me.  After wracking my brain, and searching the internet I finally got it!

Did you know that there is a spider that makes a web that looks like a zipper?  Well now ya do!  Here is what it looks like.

Well, this is what it looks like in beads!!  That is it for me this week.  Don't forget to fly on over to EIM and 2x2x2 to check out all the great artwork that the amazing ladies have done  this week and maybe just jump on in yourself!

Have a blessed and creative week my friends.
