Lavender Inchie Love

This week's theme over at Every Inchie Monday is Lavender.  You ever have one of those times when you and creativity don't get along?  Kinda like a married couple who have a fight and don't speak to one another?  Well, that was me this week.  Creativity and me seemed to have a disagreement and creativity left for work and didn't even say goodbye!  LOL

That all being said, this last week has been another long one.  I put in another 1500 miles of driving!  Which is why this post is late.  I got home on Sunday night and was way too tired to do my inchie.

I tried to think of what to design.  I thought about lavender flowers but each design I did just didn't look right.  It was not until I saw other artists designs that I thought about a sachet.  I never even thought about that!  Since I am sensitive to strong smells (because of my allergy related asthma)I don't use sachets or candles of any kind.  So that would have never came to my mind.

This is what I came up with, a color block pattern.  Now, if I had been smart I might have said it was a bar of soap but even that didn't come to me until I started to type the blog, LOL.  Blame it on me being tired!  Lets hope that next week me and creativity will make up and be friends again.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to fly on over to EIM and check out all the awesome artwork from all these talented ladies.

  1. I just did a comment and it didn't go through.

I know what you mean about creativity going to work and not even saying goodbye. I have that happen to me all the time, especially when my depression or sinuses start the argument.

    You did good.

    1. Yea I have the same issues with my allergy related asthma. Funny how when you can not breathe creativity seems to suck lol

  2. Pretty colours and I love the shape - reminds me of the old fashioned lozenges that you used to get. Must be the time of year when creativity goes on holiday because, as you know, mine deserted me. It is putting in an appearance every now and then but not in synch with time!!! You certainly have been doing some driving - I'm worn out just reading about it :)

  6. Oh my gosh... I know exactly how you feel... both with the creative block AND THE DRIVING! Why are you doing so much driving? I have an 80 MILE COMMUTE EVERY DAY - EACH WAY!!!!

The nice thing about a theme that is also a color, is you can just use the colors and go all abstract, but you could have totally played off that it was soap and we would have believed you. =) Love the shine!
