Sorry for the shine. I just can't seem to get a good pic without the shine. Also this week I worked on a small project for the monthly challenge over at Seed Beads and More. This month's theme is gifts for guys or Beadpoint. So I chose beadpoint. Beadpoint is beading on canvas or Aida cloth; like cross stitch.
I decided to do a small project while I am waiting for beads to work on my bigger project. I had some plastic canvas and decided to bead some crystals onto it in a heart shape. On the first one I used 4mm bicones, as you can see it did not go too well. The second one has 6mm bicones and was just right. What do you think? I really like it.
I am thinking of adding a string and hanging it in my window. I wish this picture showed the shine that is on the crystals. I can't win for trying! haha.
That's it for me this week. Don't forget to fly on over to EIM, and 2x2x2 and check out Seed Beads and More.
The inchie is fantastic and the heart are so beautiful. I think the shine adds a little extra to them

Thanks Chrissie, I think you are right
DeleteLove the flamingo inchie! It reminded me that I made a kiddie jumper with a flamingo on the front back in the early 80s that I had completely forgotten about. The hearts would look cool hanging in the window as a group & catching the light:-)

Thanks Sally, I bet the jumper looked awesome.
DeleteYour inchie is just wonderful, two for the price of one. I think your lovely crystals would make wonderful light catchers...Dixx
ReplyDeleteThanks Dianne, I will have to take a pic when I get it up in the window.
DeleteFantastic inchie, I saw that image on google and wondered if anyone would tackle it, well done. Gogeous hearts as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy. Glad you like them
DeleteYour inchie is brilliant. If I would see it somewhere else I would think that it is made by a flamingo fan.
ReplyDeleteI like your hearts too. It's a good idea to hang them in the window.
Thanks Trillian.
