Last week over at Every Inchie Monday the theme was Fly. Since making a bug would just not show up like I would have wanted I decided to go with my second thought. An airport icon! Let's FLY! I enjoyed making this one.
This week's theme is Buffalo! Well, since I just had to be different I decided to think WAAAYYYY outside the box and make a peace pipe that might have been smoked by Chief Buffalo and Benjamin Armstrong. Too bad this kinda thing wont work nowadays.
The green background makes it a bit hard to see but it is there with smoking wafting up from it.
That is it for me this week, don't forget to fly on over to EIM and check out the artwork. Have a blessed and creative week my friends.
Love the way you always think of something different and amazing.
ReplyDeleteGreat inchies
Love Chrissie xx
Thanks so much Chrissie.
DeleteTwo great ideas for your lovely inchies
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy
DeleteI can never wait to see your take on the subject...wonderful. I see from your photos that they seem to be joined as a strip...is that so? I have never noticed before...Dixx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, yes I attach them onto each other, so at the end of the year they are in one big strip.
DeleteWell spotted Di I hadn't noticed the attached inchies great way to keep them - I might not have lost all mine if I'd done that!! Freebird, I love what you did with Fly - great interpretation for the heading and likewise the pipe - what a great take using the Indian! I am in empathy with you regarding tiredness and little time to sew, bead or whatever I seem to get a pattern where I'm fine for 3 weeks and then suddenly everything catches me up and I'm fit for nothing for 10 days then I pull myself out of it again - I hope this is just your body telling you to relax and stop so you can rest and then be active again soon but you have made two great inchies.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny glad you liked them, I think this summer is going to be this way. We are supposed to be working 6 days a week for the whole summer.
DeleteThat is some thinking outside the box you've got going on here but very successful it is!
